Italian based Kenyan International Barnabas Odhiambo has been named in the final squad that will battle it out in the Africa Hockey Federation  Africa Cup of nations set to begin next Monday, November 18 at the City Park, Hickey stadium in Nairobi.

There were doubts earlier over the HC Superbha midfielder's availability for the crucial tournament whose winner will book a ticket to the 2014 World Cup set to be staged in The Hague, Netherlands.

He joined the rest of the squad last Friday at the City Park which informed Senge's decision to include him in the final 18 that was named on sunday.

The other good news for the coach is the availability of Kisumu Simba's Frank Wanangwe who's preparation with the team was disrupted several times due to job commitment.

Frank, the elder brother to Nairobi Simba's Davis (Wanangwe) is also expected to provide cover in the midfield which has Strathmore University play maker, Brian Musasia.

Kenya will however miss the services of captain Zack Aura who remains unavailable due to work engagement.

"We've have not settled on who will captain the team yet but we'll come up with one after discussions," said Senge. The tournament is just five days away and teams are expected to start arriving from Friday. Women's squad will be released on Tuesday.
