KCB utility back Peter Kilonzo will make his test debut on Saturday, partnering Leo Seje in a midfield partnership when Kenya face Hong Kong in the return test at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa ground.

The squad was named on Wednesday morning.

Kilonzo, who played for Kenya “A” in their 24-18 win over the same opponent in Nairobi last year, starts ahead of regular outside center David Ambunya as the Simbas look to build from last Sunday’s 19-19 draw against the Dragons.

Team Manager Simiyu Wangila, acknowledged: “Kilonzo has been knocking on the door and after being part of the set up, gets his opportunity to don the colors and roar with the rest of the pride on Saturday. He comes in for David Ambunya who is nursing a shoulder injury.”

Center, Darwin Mukidza expects a tough battle. “We expect them to play as they did on Sunday but we are planning to raise our intensity and see how it goes from there as we are similarly matched. The team that shows up on the day will take this encounter,” said the Simbas utility back and vice captain.
