Oserian will remain rooted at the bottom of the Kenyan Premier League table after they were held to a barren draw at home by Western Stima in Saturday’s only league match.

The match was without major incidents though Stima’s veteran striker Mark Sirengo had a goal disallowed late in the second half for offside.

The result left the Naivasha side rooted to the bottom of the 16-team table with 16 points, while Stima remains in seventh position with 27 points.

AFC Leopards’ match against Thika United will highlight the four matches lined up for Sunday. Victory will see Leopards provisionally going eight points clear at the top.

Both teams are in fine form though Thika will be seeking to get even with Leopards who beat them in the first leg.

In Nakuru, Ulinzi Stars will lock horns will Nairobi City Stars. Though City Stars have lately registered unfavourable results, they are a resilient side that could give Ulinzi plenty of trouble.

The Gideon Ochieng-coached side will be go into this match buoyed by a 3-1 victory over Tanzanian giants Simba in a friendly match at Dar es Salaam’s National Stadium earlier in the week.

The result against Simba has given Ochieng belief that his team has what it takes to inflict defeat on the soldiers at their own backyard.

“Going by our performance in Dar-es-Salaam, we are in the right frame of mind to put a fight against Ulinzi”, he said. In other matches, Sony Sugar will host Muhoroni Youth at Gusii Stadium while Karuturi Sports have a date with Rangers FC. All matches kick-off at 3pm.
