KU upset favourites CBK

Kenyatta University's Victor Homgo,Elijah Kamau, Paul Waweru and Jackton Molly upset the fancied Central Bank of Kenya team comprising veterans Lawrence Khaduli, Caleb Nyagwaya, George Nderitu and Ernest Otanga 3-1 on Sunday, October 31.

CBK had started off with a resounding 4-0 win over visitors Egerton 4-0, who had previously seen off Kabete by a similar score.

Kabete were also on the losing end against Checkmates who scored a straight 4-0 victory after a slim 2.5-1.5 victory over KU. 

Eastland recorded one win against Egerton of 4-0 as

KCB's Ben Magana,Matthew Kanegeni,Githinji Hinga and Philip Singe overrun Kabete 4.0

On Saturday Egerton's Willy Omani,Fabian Namnaba, Edward Oluoch and Vincent gave a good account of themselves in their narrow 1.5 -2.5 loss to league leaders Nairobi Chess club as KU also trounced Kenya Polytechnic 4-0.
