• Kenya falls to Uganda in Africa T20 Women

Kenya slumped to their second defeat in the ongoing ICC Africa T20 Women's tournament losing by seven wickets to their hosts Uganda at the Kyambogo University,Monday. 

After a dominant display the previous day against minnows Sierra Leone,Kenya's batting collapsed in quick succession managing a paltry 42 runs, a target their opponente reached with seven wickets at hand and right overs remaining. 

Belinda Maska was the only one who managed double score of 11 for Kenya who had convincingly beaten Sierra Leone and Nigeria by 10 wickets each in their earlier matches. 

"My girls today did not play well, their batting was belo par. They did not give in eden half of what they did against Tanzania,"noted Kenyan Coach Okinyo Ochieno. 

 Captain Barbara Mukanisi(15) and Caroline Namugenyi(14) contributions were  enough for Uganda before they both fell to Sarah Mwihaki. 

Tanzania remainder perched at the top of the six-team table after a nine ticket win over Nigeria in the day's other match, after squeezing narro victories against Namibia(6-runs) and Kenya(9-runs).
