Kenya bounced back from their loss to Tanzania to thrash Sierra Leone by a whooping 10 wickets on sunday at the ongoing ICC Africa Twenty20 Women's Cup in Kampala, Uganda.

After opting to bat Sierre Leone were restricted to 50 runs in 19.2 overs with Mercy Adhiambo posting a career best 3 for 4 as she quickly bowled out Mabinty King, Fofamah Kadijah and Koroma Isatu. Interestingly all the runs all came in the last over which included three wide balls.

Bhakita guided Kenya to the massive win with an unbeaten contribution of 23 as they easily reached the target in the sixth over to condemn the west Africans to their third straight loss in the tournament. Kenya had earlier made a flying start to their participation with a 10-wicket victory over Nigeria.

Tanzania went into an early lead at the top of the table with successive victories.
