English based duo of Opener Seren Waters and all rounder Ragheb Aga, have been called up to the Kenya cricket squad that will host Afghanistan next month in the ICC intercontinental Cup Match at the Nairobi Gymkhana.
The two are set to link up with the national team next week ahead of the four day Intercontinental Cup scheduled for October 2-5.
20 year old Waters, a right hand batsman has been featuring for Durham University and Surrey Second select while Ragheb,26 formerly played for Sussex county.
The national team has had a poor run in the Intercontinental cup losing all but two of their matches against Netherlands and Canada.
Kenya who are currently lying fifth in the seven team table is out of contention for the top two positions currently held by Afghanistan and Scotland.
Afghanistan on the other hand who until 2008 were playing in the Division three of the ICC world Cricket League look set to qualify for the final set for Dubai from November 25-29.
The top two teams will qualify for the finals.
After the four-dayer the two teams will play three one day series on October 7,9 and 11.
The Kenyan team is coached by Eldine Baptiste.
