Guya, who is the reigning Kenya MX1 Champion, will alongside the rest of Team Kenya be riding in the Uganda series event as guest riders. "I am excited to come back to Uganda, and definitely looking forward to the race. I haven't raced in Uganda for two years now."

"The race will be very exciting for the fans since many people have wanted to see the battle between me and Maxime again," he added. Guya has however admitted that Maxime has improved his pace and will be up to the challenge.

"Van Pee is a great rider and I always enjoy racing him. Whenever we race, we all give it our best. Am sure that is what we shall do on Sunday," he asserted.

Maxime Van Pee told Kawowo Sports he is so prepared for the battle. "Am prepared for the battle, Guya beat me in Kenya but now i also have the home advantage to win in Garuga on Sunday," says Van Pee.
