Frank Ndong has been named as the interim coach for Impala RFC replacing Fred Ollows who has been the acting head coach.

According to a club official, Ollows remains the Director of Rugby at Impala RFC after serving as an 'interim head coach' for two seasons.

Ndong and Oscar Osir will handle the day to day coaching for the remainder of the season.

The decision was made after the players met with the Impala RFC committee and said they were unwilling to train if Ollows remained as coach. The Committee were left with no alternative but to relieve Ollows of his duties.

Among the reasons the committee considered were allegations of unfair treatment of the players and inconsistency in making calls from the technical bench which Ollows headed.
