The lead by Telkom Orange and Kenya Police at the top of the Kenya Hockey Union women and men's Premier Leagues are solid ahead of their matches at the weekend.

Telkom Orange, the women's defending champions return to the turf on Sunday for a tricky match against the United States International University - Africa at the City Park Stadium from 11 a.m.

They conceded their first goals against Strathmore University last weekend. A comeback by the students in the second half exposed the vulnerability of Telkom Orange.

Kenya Police will be play USIU-A on Saturday from 6 p.m.

In the men's Premier League, Green Sharks and Butali Sugar Warriors have been exchanging positions in the second spot. On Wednesday, Green Sharks climbed back to the second spot with a 2-0 win against Chase Sailors.

Both teams will not be in action this weekend. Butali were supposed to travel to Kakamega to play against Western Jaguars who use Kakamega High School for their home matches.

But, because of the KCSE Examinations, the venue is out of bounds and therefor the fixture has been shelved.

There are 11 matches. Nine of these are in Nairobi with the remaining two in Mombasa and Nakuru.
