Wekesa goal for Wazalendo sinks PSC

Sam Wekesa scored a goal from a penalty corner in the 17th minute to steer Wazalendo to a 2-1 win over Parklands Sports Club in a Kenya Hovckey Union men's Premier League match at the City Park Stadium on Friday.

It was Wazalendo who scored first through Job Omondi, the captain in the seventh minute before Chumila Kavere replied one minute later for PSC.

The win saw Wazalendo climb to the third spot in the league dislodging Butali Sugar Warriors.

Green Sharks were 2-0 winners over Park Road Badgers. They led 1-0 from a goal by Leon Magomere in the 20th minute.

In a University Derby, Brian Kiplimo scored a goal for the United States International University - Africa In the 18th minute against Kenyatta University.

Two players were shown a yellow card. They were Samson Ratia of USIU-A in the 41st minute and Solomon Mbandi from Kenyatta University in the 53rd minute.

On Saturday, there are four national league matches.
