World Hope edge out UoN Terror

Conrad Wafula scored 15 points and Vincent Migambo 13 to steer World Hope to a narrow 66-63 win over the University of Nairobi Terrorists in a Kenya Basketball Federation men's Division One League match on Saturday.

The win saw World Hope almost assured of a place in the KBF men’s Division I playoffs.

In this match, Sam Otieno scored 20 points and Dan Abuya 15 for the students.

Nairobi City Thunder raored over Lions winning 61-40. They narrowly led 31-28 at the break. Griffins Ligare scored 23 points for Thunder and John Ocholla replied with 14 for Lions.

In the men's Premier League match, Co-Operative Bank led 27-7 at half time before easily beating Umoja 51-31. James Mwangi scored 11 points for the bankers and Nick Ogol 12 for Umoja.
